Trofeo Karlsberg 2015 up next

Last week I got a call and that changed my plans for the upcoming week. I was supposed to go to Pirkan Pyöräily and ride the 217 km long route, but instead I will head towards Germany tomorrow. More precisely, Trofeo Karlsberg together with the Finnish Junior National Road Cycling Team. We will leave Turku tomorrow evening and will arrive at our destination in Gersheim on Thursday.

Trofeo Karlsberg is one of the hardest races on the UCI Junior calendar and will take place between the 5th and 7th of June, consisting of 4 stages in total. There are cyclists from 18 different countries participating, and each and every one will have their legs put to a serious test.

Working as a team and keeping up a good spirit will be important  again. Jaakko and Erik will both be riding in Trofeo Karlsberg for the Finnish National Team.

The Finnish National Team will consist of 6 riders and  the sports director will be Toomas Kirsipuu. As always I'll have my camera with me and I'll try to report back to you whenever I have a moment to do so. It will probably be pretty hectic at times, so if you want to ensure you get all the latest information you should also follow my Facebook page, Fincycling on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Latest race reports are also found on Trofeo Karlsberg twitter account
