Cycling Year 2016 in Pictures
Despite the fact that 2016 was the worst cycling-wise, it still was an important year. I graduated finally, years late, but graduated. It was also the first summer having a car, which meant day-trips to places on nice sunny days. I promised I wouldn't go into any details, instead I will share some pictures from along the year.
In April 2016, I traveled to Denmark together with Skoda Fincycling Team, where the season opening races would take place with Slagelse Løbet and Team Cycling Ringsted og Ringsted kommunes åbne ROCKWOOL løb 2016
The season opener in Finland followed a couple of weeks later in Turku with Simon muistoajot and TS Kortteliajot. The complete photo gallery for both in the photo gallery.
Then it was time to ride the bike myself.
In May I received my new bike, the Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8.0 DI2.
In June the hours decreased dramatically, but still managed to take one or two pictures from along the routes.
In July I took a weekend trip to Tahko MTB and then a well earned 2 weeks vacation.
The summer passed by pretty fast, and before we knew, the evenings became darker and darker...
In September, we again had an MTB event and some final outdoor rides.
In October I took my last outdoor ride for the 2016 season.
So that was it, my cycling year 2016 in pictures. The year fortunately came to an end. I will end this post with a couple of shots from Turku, the most beautiful city in Finland. With this post I can finally leave 2016 behind and start looking forward. Thanks for reading!
